I am Nicolas L’Hermite, Senior Banker dedicated to the Strategic Clients segment.
Today, I want to share with you an iconic client story with BNP Paribas Wealth Management that illustrates our One Bank integrated model and our solution-driven approach.
It concerns the family shareholder of a worldwide leading company based in France.
It is a long-standing relationship with the Wealth Management and the Corporate Banking business lines, in BNP Paribas.
In 2022, the head of the client single family office, solicited the bank to support the family in their investment plan for the next two years.
The target was to continue to diversify their assets to catch new growth engines in parallel with their very successful core business.
Their three investments strategies were on listed equities, Private Equity Funds and Direct Investments, with a deep conviction on ESG thematic.
They wanted to be provided with investment opportunities on the three strategies and to finance their funding needs in line with the cash flow plan.
On the investment side, we we were delighted to offer relevant solutions that fully suit the client criteria:
First, from our Wealth Management Active Advisory desk for the stock picking on listed equity and for a sophisticated execution solution to build the portfolio positions.
Then, from our Corporate Finance business line to recommend direct deals in series B and series C fundings.
And finally, from our Wealth Management Alternative and Private investment team with an exclusive range of Private Equity Funds in Master or feeder funds.
On the credit side, as part of our long-term partnership with this family we validated a credit line based on a security package capitalizing on the existing asset portfolio of the clients and based on their cash flow plan for the coming years.
So, from their private investment vehicle, the clients were able to use a flexible credit authorization with fixed term advances and overdrafts to fund their investment plan.
This story is a good example of BNP Paribas Wealth Management capacity to support its clients needs.
